A set of Berber old silver earrings from Southern Morocco. They feature an attractive niello and engraved decoration. From the main body of the earrings hang a serie of smaller pendants. Each of those dangles, together with the two angles at the bottom of each earring, create a form of -khamsa- (literally, five) that confer to the earrings a protective effect upon their wearer. A genuine example of this sort of earrings that is becoming more and more scarce. Very nice patina. First half of the XXth century.
