Flat woven

A vibrant and captivating artisan flatwoven rug (hanbel) from Morocco. It has been made using the boucherouite technique, that is, using bits of different pieces of materials (wool, cotton, etc) of bright colors to this pop result. So nice and soft.

An astonishing new creation wool carpet made according to the traditional flat weaving technique of which -Ahnif- were made. These were hooded capes that were woven giving them directly the trapezoidal shape in the loom creating curved lines in the fabric and hence the impressive drawings that this piece shows.
